    Sougata Samanta is working as an Assistant Professor in department of Computer Science & Engineering, OmDayal Group of Institutions since January 2023. He has received his M.Tech degree in 2017 from National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research, Kolkata and B.Tech degree in 2015 from Government College of Engineering & Textile Technology, Serampore under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal. He has total 5 years of experience in teaching. His teaching interest include Data Structure & Algorithms, DBMS, and Cyber Security etc. He is currently doing research in Big Data, Distributed Computing.

    2. Sougata Samanta has participated in a workshop on “Artificial intelligence for Science and Engineering” organized by NIT Nagaland in coordination with the AICTE, Govt. of India from 17th– 22nd February, 2025.
    3. Sougata Samanta has participated and completed Short Term Training Programme on “Cloud Computing and HPC” organised by National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research, Kolkata from 5th February to 9th February, 2024.
    4. Sougata Samanta participated in the “NEP 2020 Orientation & Sensitization Programme” under Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme of University Grants Commission organised by Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre, Jadavpur University during 8th – 19th January, 2024.
