Activities

1. Souryadip Ghosh and Tanishka Chakraborty secured 2nd position for developing ‘Air Canvas’ in Inter College Science Project, Anweshan @ SSM 2023 organised by Shyampur Siddheswari Mahavidyalaya on 10-08-2023.
2. Technical Fest VOYAGE 2023 held on college premises. Some of the notable projects are Air Canvas, Snake game with hand gesture, 8 bit Shooting Game, Facial Emotion Recognition, Tech Study Hub. 
3. Amit Patra and Souryadip Ghosh secured 2nd position for developing ‘Gas Leakage Detector System’ in India International Festival, 2022
4. Ayan Das secured 1st position in model demonstration competition for developing ‘SHE Controlled Mouse’ in MAKAUT technical & cultural festival Anweshan 2022.
5. Data Visualization Challenge is organized by Capsule Labs on 17th February, 2022.
6. Technical Fest VOYAGE 2022 held on college premises. Some of the notable projects are SHE Controlled Mouse, Smart Irrigation System, Attendance System with Face Recognition, Futeristic Car with Wireless Charging etc.
7. An online coding competition is organized by department of Computer Science & Engineering department on 07-08-2021 for the students of class XI and class XII of nearby schools.
8. An online poster competition POSTER 2021 organized for students of Department of CSE.
9. Abhishek Raj, Shivam Roy under the guidance Mr. Saikat Pahari published a paper on face recognition in Journal of Applied Computer Science & Artificial Intelligence.
10. Trisha Mondal becomes 1st runner up in Secure Bengal Hackathon and Learning Challenge on Application Security Cyber Security Centre of Excellence of West Bengal, in association with NASSCOM.
11. An online coding competition in Python organized by department of Computer Science & Engineering department on 18-08-2020 for the students of class XI and class XII of nearby schools.
12. An online coding competition in C language organized by department of Computer Science & Engineering department on 22-07-2020 for the students of class XI and class XII of nearby schools.
13. Technical Fest VOYAGE 2019 held on college premises. Energy Consumption Meter, Face Detection System, Fingerprint Detection System, Wi-Fi controlled Radar Vehicle are some of the notable projects.
14. A coding competition and poster presentation for CSE Students’ Chapter of Institute of Engineers organized by department of Computer Science & Engineering on 09.03.2019
15. Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) organized Interview preparation of students on 29th, 30th January and 2nd February, 2019.
16. Technical Fest VOYAGE 2018 held on college premises. Students of B. Tech Computer Science & Engineering implemented interesting projects like Wi-Fi controlled robotic car, online review base hotel selection system, obstacles avoiding robot etc.
17. Amit Prasad Rauth, a student of the Department, presented a paper ‘Design and evaluation of Text Pre-Processor – A tool for Text Pre-Processing’ in the International Conference on Advances in Science and Technology – ICAST held in March 2017.
18. Arka Bhowmick, a student from the Department of CSE, won (i) Overtook (ii) Carb-o-botics competition in Resonance v9 robotics competition in two separate events, at CEMK, Kolaghat, 2017.
